Im confused becuase, Kobe Bryant, who Phil Jackson admits, has better ball skills than Michael Jordan. Michael Jordan averaged 24 fg att per game for his career and Kobe avgs 19 per game for his career. Thats 5 less! So if MJ takes more shots per game than Kobe, why does he get accused of ball hogging and MJ doesnt. I dont understand. Someone tell me why

LikeDislikewell ESPN never reports anything negative about Jordan, like the fact that he led the league in FG attempt for 10 straight seasons or the fact that Jordan refused to play, fights with teammates, and cheated on his wife twice.
I have always said M.J is GOAT, but Jordan jockers(mostly people who never seen him play) actually believes this guy is perfect and no one ever should be compared to him, when in reality he is just a step better than most superstars right now.

LikeDislikeJason please do not say Kobe is better than Jordan its just not so and a majority of Kobe fans admit it. As, for Phil Jackson he has always been politically correct with his players and does not criticize them when they are playing in season or he no longer has them as players. He raved about Pippen until he shut Pippen out of the game one day and gave the game winning opportunity to Kukoc when it was clearly Pippen’s team when Jordan was playing baseball. In fact Pippen did better w/ the Bulls w/o Jordan than what Jordan did w/o Pippen almost taking the Bulls to the ECF.
Jackson snapped and criticized Pippen after Pippen snapped and Phil wrote a book criticizing Kobe after he initially retired from coaching. Also, MJ was no ball hog.

Also Kobe is in LA!!!! One of the biggest media centers of US. Plus MJ was practically the face of basketball when he played and was the most dynamic, entertaining player to watch. He was easily THE best player of his era with no one even close to him. Kobe however is just one of the best during this current era.

LikeDislikeBecause MJ makes more shots then Kobe. MJ usaully shot 50% from the field while Kobe shoots 45%. MJ scoring led his team to 6 championships as the “focal point” while Kobe’s shooting led his team to ZERO championships as the “focal point”. You’re only a “ball hog” when you hurt your team and winning 6 championships doesn’t hurt your team. Notice when Kobe pass more the Lakers win? But when he was winning those scoring titles the Lakers were trash! That’s why Kobe’s a BALL HOG and Jordan isn’t! Every season Jordan won a championship he was also the scoring champ of that season. Get it? Jordan’s shooting HELPS while Kobe’s doesn’t!

But I think Kobe developed a more team mindset only in the past 3-4 seasons, once shaq left.
Kobee and Michael were both team players, but also had indivdual stats way above the league, and thats why theyre considered the best to ever play the game
