Question by california vegan animal activist: Why CNN/youtube GOP debate had some very stupid questions?
Question 24 of Youtube/CNN GOP debate last night featured this question —
“Will you make a permanent commitment to the people of Iraq?”
Its not the question thats bad, but the MORON who asked it. He was holding some Board in his hand, and he displayed the board. He wrote this on the board and then flashed his board on the screen and said –
“These are the benefits and good points of a long term and permanent stay in iraq”
1. It helps iraqis for good life
2. It helps nationbuilding for iraqis very nicely
3. Troublemakers are stopped.
4. It gives security to America.
“Promise me that you will iraq a permanent occupation”
How in anyone’s mind can a person have this kind of mentality? Did he have IQ of like 50?

There were some very rediculous situations during the youtube debates, i agree with you fully. I do belive Guliani did a terrible job last night and I was impressed by Romney though.

Probably because very intelligent people shy away from questioning.

LikeDislikeWell it makes sense.
America will permanently pump the Iraq’s oil!
Is it too much to give a bit in return!!
Let me guess, you probably one of those who believes, this invasion is about ”Iraqi freedom”!
In that case, it makes total sense and you’re right!!!!!

LikeDislikeIt was on the Clinton News Network, are you surprised? It’s funny how many of the “undecided” submitters were actually people involved in Democrat candidate’s campaigns. There’s a website somewhere listing them off. It’s way too many to be a coincidence. What a waste of all of their time. Huckabee at least had some good things to say.

LikeDislikeAt least half of that debate was just dumb, it was all about trying to show the conservatives in a bad light.

LikeDislikeI rather liked the YouTube debates on both sides. Why?
Were all the questions pearls of wisdom from the gods? By no means were they at all.
However I think in many ways this sort of forum has some place in the process. Why again you ask?
What was very telling during these events were the reactions and the way the candidates handled the odd, and often poorly stated questions posed by ‘everyday’ men and woman.
I garnered much insight, on some candidates that have been less covered by mainstream media outlets. And new insights on the more covered ones.
It was refreshing over all. In the end even though in part it was a joke, it is fitting since this election started WAY to early for my taste is also something of joke at this point and time.
If they do them again I will watch them again, as I would like to see if they learned anything from the first time around. That in itself is very telling of the quality of character.

LikeDislikeThey have to deal with the real people first…then, play hardball later. They’re keeping it REAL!
